I now have over three years of experience in the film and television industry, working across feature films and television series including drama, sci-fi, romance, and children’s television and all stages of production — from pre-production through to post-production.

Teamwork is one of my key strengths; in my last project as Assistant to Writer/Director I worked in close collaboration with the Director, Producers, and 1st Assistant Director (AD), organising the Director’s schedule and managing his time across the various time zones, taking notes, proofreading new versions of the screenplay and facilitating effective communication while building relationships between HoDs, crew, and Amazon MGM (the studio behind the feature film), as well as other projects the Director was working on. This experience strengthened my ability to support Creative Directors and senior leadership.

Under the mentorship of TV Director Grant Brown, I had the experience of being the Screen Queensland Director’s Attachment on Troppo Season 2 (BLK 4),  where I worked closely with the Director, Producers, Writers, the 1st AD and the DOP. This hands-on experience provided me with invaluable insights including how to block a script, how to direct actors, collaborate with editors and post-production team on producer and network episode notes.

I have also worked closely with the production department, as a runner on four long-running television series, from 2021 to 2023.

Being highly organised, detail-oriented, I thrive in fast-paced, people-focused environments, maintain high performance standards, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. I am motivated to create engaging, show-stopping content that brings brands to life and enhances audience engagement.

I ‘fell’ into TV production in the 1990’s where I gained experience in research and casting.

My first foray into film was working on the quintessential Aussie comedy ‘The Castle’ as a Production Runner (1995). That was fun!!

After 12 months living in London, working at the BBC and Granada Television, I had a change of career and worked in aviation for 13 years. I was a flight attendant and then held training and management roles.

The itch to return to TV and film returned and over the last decade I’ve worked on productions for FremantleMedia, Matchbox Pictures, Roadshow Rough Diamond and the ABC.

I love working in this creative industry and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. On a side note, I’m very process-driven, I’m super organised and I love a good spreadsheet!

Just finishing up a long standing post production contract and eager to jump into a new production role. Fully available from April.

Howdy! I’m Hans an emerging production assistant. I bring experience from multiple professional productions as a PA across TVCs, Screen QLD & AUS funded online series, indie feature films and have been the producer on a couple of short films and music videos.

I’m confident in my knowledge with computers/laptops, Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom) and have experience assisting Production Coordinators and Line Producers with email  and phone call communications.

With an interest in both the Production & AD departments, I am drawn to challenges that require critical thinking, problem solving and a detail-sensitive mindset, but I also display the people-skills, personality and genuine enthusiasm to work and communicate with cast, crew and background.

These skills were developed through four years working across different high schools as a level 1 IT Support Officer, and three years of studying my Bachelor of Film at Griffith Film School.

When I’m not on set, I work casually as an IT officer at schools and as a freelance photographer and also volunteer my Sundays as a Senior Kids Church Leader of kids aged 4 to 12 years.

Flexible and available to all opportunities and am willing to travel when necessary.

Recent film and media graduate with experience across broadcast production, commercial productions, and administrative coordination.
