Sunshine Locations is a South East Queensland location services company connecting film, television, commercial and stills productions with the right places across Queensland.

Founded by two women with decades of combined experience in film production and location management, to close the gap between production companies and the region’s remarkably diverse landscapes.

Co-founders Carol Gesser and Carlyle Keyser bring over two decades of international production experience across the globe, spanning long-form, documentary, commercial and events work. Services cover the full location workflow, from creative-led scouting through location management, council permits, top and tail, basic unit services and behind-the-scenes capture.

The business keeps a curated database of residential, commercial and public properties, from hinterland hideaways and heritage city buildings to secluded beaches, which gives productions a fast shortcut to south east Queensland’s best spots.

Recent credits includes the upcoming feature Breakin’ Silence,  also commercial work for Good Oil’s Domino’s brand campaign and Taxi Film Production’s PillowTalk.

Jaidyn Griffin

Strong track record delivering complex productions across South East Queensland, Northern NSW, and Western Australia, working across a wide range of environments and logistical conditions.

My scouting work includes showcasing Queensland into for “Darby and Joan”, and doubling Brisbane and the Gold Coast for Florida and Oklahoma on “Joe vs. Carole”.

I have led a department on “Mystery Road: Origin”, managing remote logistics, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale production requirements.

More recently, I have worked on major war features “The Mosquito Bowl” and “Untitled Mike Thornton Project”, both requiring extensive planning and coordination with local and state government agencies, complex unit moves, and the delivery of ambitious set builds and practical effects.
