I have had the good fortune to work on many high-profile projects in and around the Gold Coast and Brisbane over the last six years.

In that time, I have learned how to manage and navigate big sets with hundreds of extras and work with the best crew members in the country.

I have become comfortable working in high-pressure situations under the best 1st AD’s such as PJ Voeten, Lee Cleary and David Venghaus. Working under such experienced ADs, I have learned how the rhythm of a film shoot works and how to recognise patterns that emerge in a film shoot.

Some of the skills I have acquired as an AD in the last few years; setting background, working with camera operators, coordinating with all HOD’s on a daily basis, working with the director and DOP communicating their thoughts and ideas to the 1st AD.

Also keen to learn more about production and open to undertaking a producer’s assistant or director’s assistant role.

My professional experience so far includes: being an in-house production coordinator at a production company for two years in NZ  from 2022-2024 and freelancing to gain invaluable experience across a plethora of smaller, boutique commercial shoots.

I have stepped into on-set roles through this including on set PA, DA (logging), 2nd 2nd AD (extras), 3rd AD (cast), and costume / stylist assist.

Then moved to Australia in 2025, to pursue a bigger industry with an aim to be on TV or features.  I became an attachment on EPiC through Bazmark and Screen Queensland and most recently Nick Waterman’s (dir. How To Make Gravy) Production Assistant, working across commercials, short films, social media, and slate development, until this position moved interstate.

I am looking for on-set or production office work, as my strengths lie in creative conception, managing feasibility and schedules, active work, collaborating as a team, hands on tasks, and creative problem solving.

I love being part of a team, all working towards a common goal, so film is the perfect environment for me.

Coming up through the independent film world has sharpened my creativity and resourcefulness—skills essential when working with limited time and budgets.

My varied career has helped me to develop a compassionate, emotionally intelligent leadership style, fostering a supportive, inclusive, and transparent atmosphere on set. I prioritise the well-being of the crew and am proactive in advocating for their needs, ensuring a collaborative and productive working environment.

My background spanned commercial and event videography, where I worked as a shooter, producer, and editor. This has equipped me with a sharp eye for visual storytelling and a practical understanding of how to balance creativity with logistical efficiency.

My approach as an Assistant Director is rooted in a deep respect for the story. I believe that fully understanding the narrative’s beats, character arcs, and set pieces allows me to anticipate challenges, streamline the shooting process, and support the director’s vision with precision and clarity.

I now have over three years of experience in the film and television industry, working across feature films and television series including drama, sci-fi, romance, and children’s television and all stages of production — from pre-production through to post-production.

Teamwork is one of my key strengths; in my last project as Assistant to Writer/Director I worked in close collaboration with the Director, Producers, and 1st Assistant Director (AD), organising the Director’s schedule and managing his time across the various time zones, taking notes, proofreading new versions of the screenplay and facilitating effective communication while building relationships between HoDs, crew, and Amazon MGM (the studio behind the feature film), as well as other projects the Director was working on. This experience strengthened my ability to support Creative Directors and senior leadership.

Under the mentorship of TV Director Grant Brown, I had the experience of being the Screen Queensland Director’s Attachment on Troppo Season 2 (BLK 4),  where I worked closely with the Director, Producers, Writers, the 1st AD and the DOP. This hands-on experience provided me with invaluable insights including how to block a script, how to direct actors, collaborate with editors and post-production team on producer and network episode notes.

I have also worked closely with the production department, as a runner on four long-running television series, from 2021 to 2023.

Being highly organised, detail-oriented, I thrive in fast-paced, people-focused environments, maintain high performance standards, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. I am motivated to create engaging, show-stopping content that brings brands to life and enhances audience engagement.
