Amy McCulloch

After many years in development, I’m keen to contribute more directly to production. I’m now looking to join a producing team as a Producer’s Assistant, Associate Producer or Co-Producer.

I bring a broad mix of creative, production and development experience that I believe would be extremely valuable in those roles, including:

• held senior producer / series producer roles at Disney, writing and producing original formats for broadcast on Disney Channel, digital content
• freelance promo producer (proficient in Premiere Pro)
• worked in post-production at Seven, across multiple programs
• started in live broadcast in the Ch 7 News room, Sydney, putting news bulletins, sports and Sunrise to air

I’ve also just wrapped up a four-year stint as Head of Development, managing a slate of 11 scripted television and feature projects. Responsibilities included:

• ideation and developing pitch materials
• preparing and submitting funding applications
• pitching/representing projects in market settings
• deeply involved in shaping projects from early concept through to advanced development
• worked with different contributors and collaborators across creative, strategic, budgetary and logistical aspects

I am creatively driven as well as solutions-focused and have excellent problem-solving skills.
