As owner of FX Illusions (FXI), I specialise in the design, engineering, construction, and execution of complex practical and mechanical effects, including fire and pyrotechnics, atmospheric effects, action vehicles, stunt rigging equipment, specialty fabrication, theatrical illusions, theme park rides, shows, and attractions.
My expertise spans the complete production process, from script breakdowns, concept development and engineering design through budgeting, reporting, fabrication, testing and on-set supervision. I lead specialist crews across all special effects, armoury, action vehicles, engineering and construction disciplines.
Known for practical, quick, and accurate problem-solving and the ability to deliver technically demanding effects under tight production schedules, I combine creative thinking with engineering precision to bring complex screen and live-action concepts to reality on time and on budget.
