Samudranil’s narrative work has screened at various international film festivals around the world, won Jury awards and has been nominated for a regional EMMY.
His work has also won multiple ACS awards and he was selected as an ASC Vision Mentee by the American Society of Cinematographers.
Samudranil has experience shooting projects for broadcast television and on reputable online distribution services. He has photographed multiple short films, feature films and an episodic series for Netflix, as well as multiple national and international commercials.
He has an empathetic eye towards capturing raw performances and is an advocate of strong visual language that can support the story and performances of a film.
He is a graduate of the American Film Institute’s (AFI) Masters Program and speaks English, Bengali and Hindi proudly.
